Celia Wu is currently Head of Global Sales Operations for Vice Media. Prior she was Managing Director, Publisher Services, for The 614 Group, a management consulting firm focused on digital media and advertising. Before joining the 614 Group she was Vice President of Media Monetization at Operative. Prior to Operative, Celia was Sr. Director, Sales Development for MSNBC.com, where she was responsible for all non-guaranteed revenue, programmatic and revenue diversification efforts. Celia spent eight years at Microsoft, joining as Regional General Manager of MSN Asia and then General Manager of Global Business Development where she focused on partnerships in Europe. Prior to Microsoft Celia worked for Turner Entertainment as Executive Vice President & General Manager, launching Cartoon Network and Turner Classic Movies throughout Asia. Celia spent 14 years working in Asia and was on the launch team for Star TV as its Vice President & General Manager of Programming. Celia began her career in television news on the production crew of ABC News 20/20, and moved into syndication sales for Public Television International. With roots across three continents, Celia enjoys travel blogging. She is also a licensed basketball and soccer referee, and is currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Journalism at the University of Missouri.
